The Festival is now entering a new era but will continue its ethos of presenting varied programmes of wonderful music from the established repertoire as well as less known works performed by musicians with a particular commitment to Chamber music. We hope to extend the scope of the Festival by presenting concerts in other local venues, reach a wider audience and schedule concerts more frequently throughout the year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The musicians who have appeared for many years will continue to visit alongside other international colleagues, outstanding young professionals at the outset of their careers and students who comprise the next generation of professional musicians. The wide experience of the Gaudier Ensemble will inform much of the programming to delight and educate us in equal measure. Richard Hosford will continue as the Festival Artistic Director.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Festival receives no public or corporate funding and is dependent on ticket sales and the wonderful generosity of its Benefactors and the loyal support of its Friends\u2019 organisation.
