The musicians of the Gaudier Ensemble are of course, professional musicians in their own right and are members of other Ensembles or Orchestras around the country.

May: Hay-on-Wye festival with Fitzwilliam Quartet.
mid July: Fitzwilliam Quartet will be recording Schubert’s Death and the Maiden and Rosamunde Quartets on gut strings.
20th June at 3pm: Playing with l’Ensemble de Note at St John’s Smith Square in London. It will be interesting; Beethoven’s own arrangement of his 2nd Symphony for piano trio and his ‘Bei Maennern’ Magic Flute Variations for cello and piano.
The night before Cerne Abbas Rehearsals begin in Dorset she will be performing in a BBC Prom with The World Orchestra for Peace (otherwise known as WOP!)
April 1 at 3pm: Perth Piano Sundays. Yes, I know it’s Easter Sunday, but why not spend the afternoon listening to some lovely music? I’ll be ‘exploring the classics’, talking about Haydn and Beethoven before performing the pieces.
April 9-15: I’m chairing the jury of the Lyon International Chamber Music Competition in France
May 5 at 3pm: (please note start time), Brunton Theatre, Musselburgh: in the final lecture-recital of my series at The Brunton, I’ll be ‘exploring the classics’ by talking about and performing Schubert’s great A major Sonata, one of his last piano works.
June 14-17: Marryat Chamber Music Festival, London – I’ll be playing in several concerts over the four days of this festival held in a beautiful home and garden in Wimbledon.
July 26-29: Cerne Abbas Music Festival, Cerne Abbas, Dorset – my annual trip to this delightful Dorset village for more high-quality chamber music with the Gaudier Ensemble. This festival is very popular locally, so book your tickets early if you want to get in!
